Need help with a new kitten!?

My girlfriend, whom I live with, has just recently adopted a new calico kitten; 5 months old. She's a great kitten, but her nighttime escapades drive me up a wall. All the experts say you have to ignore her cries or you'll teach her that meowing loudly in the middle of the night gets her food, attention, etc. They say allow her to roam the house to keep herself occupied. The problem is, we have roommates. The kitten stays in the same room as us, but we can't just ignore her cries that can be heard throughout the house! In order to be courteous roommates, we have to find a way to keep her quiet, and that way is often sitting miserably and playing with her at 3 AM. The lack of sleep is killing me, but there are no empty rooms to keep her in throughout the night where she won't wake somebody. These things occur despite the two hours we've been setting aside before bed each night just to play with her in the hopes she'll sleep though the night. I know she's a kitten and will quiet down as she grows up and matures, but please, anyone who has owned a kitten knows the boiling fury that builds in your stomach when she pounces on your toes in the middle of the night and you have work in the morning. Does anyone have any advice or solutions they could offer? My girlfriend loves this thing and it makes her very happy. I want to love it too, but changing its sleep schedule is very hard when keeping it quiet takes priority over training it. Please help.

Why are people against bull ridin?

Im 14 abd ride bulls, i know from personel experience that the bulls are not abused in any way. If you ever see two bulls fight each other out in the pasture then you know that there is NO way that humans can possibly deal punishment to bulls the way they do to each other. It is a proven fact that rodeo bulls live longer and probably happier than most regular farm bulls. NEVER do we kill bulls after rodeos, thats bull fighting in spain which i am 100% against. We do not dig our spurs into the bull and the spurs we wear are dulled and just for show. The flank strap is not tied around the bulls balls just behind them, it does not hurt the bull in any way, shape, or form. And the bulls who buck in rodeo's LOVE bucking, if they appear to not enjoy it then we dont use them for rodeo's anymore. you should see a young bull prance around the arena after he bucked of a young cowboy and if you look in his eyes you can tel he is extremely proud and happy. so why the heck do yall think this is animal abuse!?

BLADDER INFECTION, ACUTE, OR SERIOUS?

Several weeks ago,<-(key point), I had symptoms of a uti, plus a fever and intense flank pain. Since then, the intense flank pain and fever aren't present, but I went to ER to be sure last week, and was diagnosed with uti, and sent home with antibiotics(and yes I informed the dr of my previous symptoms). My question is, just because I don't have a fever or severe flank pain anymore, does that mean that my infection isn't considered septic, or serious enough to be hospitalized? I was told that an accompanying fever was a sign of the infection going septic. So I thought that meant in general, regardless of if I don't have a fever at the present moment?

Socom Navy Seals: Did any other game pick up on the voice action control?

Tom Clancy's End War had the talking thing to, though this didn't pick up great being as it didn't always respond and you couldn't be in a party or talking to anyone while you played.

In the PS3 welcome back package what 2 games should I get?

I would say get infamous because it is a very good game and it will entertain you for a while. The second game i would say little big planet as it is herd to begreat

How can I train myself in battlefield tactics and strategy for an upcoming paint ball Stalingrad reenactment?

I am going to Skirmish Paint Ball in PA this weekend for a reenactment of the battle for Stalingrad in WWII. I have been designated the squad leader because I already have more military tactical knowledge than any of my friends. However, I would certainly not consider myself even an average battlefield commander. Are there any websites or books I can find that have tips, rules, lessons, or info on battlefield strategy and tactics. I'm really looking for something to teach me flanking moves, how to arrange my men while patrolling or advancing, how to guess where my enemy will move next, and how to plan an attack or where to move before and after a battle.
