What does kidney pain feel like?

I've been having right flank pain that started this morning. It's far to the right like right above my hip area. Sort of feel more around the front than the back. I feel the pain when I take a deep breath. It doesn't hurt when I pee or burn. My per is regular color. Could it be air or gas that's trapped?
